Senator Tan Parker Elected Chair of the Texas Senate Republican Caucus
AUSTIN, TEXAS — Texas State Senator Tan Parker has been unanimously elected as the Chair of the Texas Senate Republican Caucus. Parker, who represents Senate District 12, brings a wealth of leadership experience and a proven record of building consensus among his colleagues to this vital role.
“I am deeply honored to have the trust and confidence of my fellow Republican senators to serve as Chair of the Texas Senate Republican Caucus,” said Senator Parker. “This caucus plays a critical role in advancing conservative policies that strengthen Texas families, protect individual liberties, and ensure a thriving economy. This appointment marks another milestone in Senator Parker’s distinguished career of legislative leadership. Prior to serving in the Texas Senate, Parker was a long-serving member of the Texas House of Representatives, where he held the position of Chair of the Texas House Republican Caucus. In that capacity, Parker successfully united the Republican majority to achieve significant legislative victories, including reforms in education, economic development, and public safety.
