The Texas Senate Criminal Justice Committee is taking decisive action to protect our children with Senate Bill 20, which creates a criminal offense for the possession or promotion of obscene visual material appearing to depict a child. During today’s hearing, I emphasized the importance of strengthening our laws to stop those who exploit and prey on the most vulnerable. This is one of the most pressing issues of our time, and I look forward to advancing this critical legislation.
