Parker Ensures That Further Border Security Initiatives Will Be Considered

Yesterday Representative Tan Parker filed an amendment to the General Appropriations Act to further fund border security measures and to deploy more Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers along the Texas/Mexico border. Parker enlisted the support of Representative Corbin Van Arsdale along with other senior Appropriations Committee members in getting his policy considered. “I am proud of the part I played in this effort to further secure our border from illegal activity that endangers the well being of all Texas citizens,” Parker said.

Parker Moves Forward with Taxpayer Protection Plan
