4th Of July Parade

Parade line up will be at 9:30am in front of Copper Canyon Town Hall. Immediately after the parade everyone is welcome for hotdogs & drinks in front of town hall. Any questions call Carol Owens at 940-241-1455.

Liberty Run July 4th, 7:30 AM (2001 West Windsor Drive)

The Liberty Run is a 5k run & 1-mile fun walk. The event takes place at North Lakes Rec Center. Check-in is at 6:30 a.m. and the race begins at 7:30 a.m.

Yankee Doodle Parade

July 4th, 9AM (Mulberry Street and Locust Street)

Double Oak 

4th of July Parade and Picnic

9:00 am Parade Line-up 9:30 am Parade starts at Simmons Rd. at Timberlead Dr.  10:00 am – 2:00 pm Food, fun, live music, and ice cold drinks after the parade at the John B. Wright Memorial Park  

 

Flower Mound

Independence Day Fest 2013; July 4th Children’s Parade

10 a.m. to 1 p.m; LISD School Administration Building, 1800 Timber Creek Rd.

Attendees can enjoy free hot dogs, drinks, children’s activities, face painting, and live entertainment at the conclusion of the parade. Parade line-up begins at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Eaton and Timber Creek Road and participation is free and open to the general public.

Evening Program

Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane in Flower Mound

Includes free concerts, fireworks display, classic car show, art exhibition, and the showcase of local businesses Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane in Flower Mound. Gates for the festival activities at Bakersfield Park open at 5 p.m. and close at 10:30 p.m. Additional information: 972-874-7275.  

 

Lewisville

Stars and Stripes Parade

July 4th; 11:00 AM; Vista Ridge Mall

The parade starts in Center Court and travels through the shopping center, ending back in Center Court. All activities are free and will begin after the parade and continue until 3 p.m.

Red White and Lewisville Fireworks Show

July 4th; 9:30 PM; Vista Ridge Mall

The show is scheduled to start after sunset, about 9:30 p.m. For more information call 972.219.3401.

Roanoke

Independence Day Celebration

July 3rd; 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Roanoke Community Park 201 Parkview Drive

Fireworks, Live Music and Family Fun Le Freak (retro disco band). $3 BBQ meals include sandwich, chip and a drink.

Stars and Stripes Show

Activities include: Patriotic Ceremony, Fireworks, Live Music, Concessions, Kid Zone, Activity Booths, Strolling Entertainment. Live music in Frank Cornish Park until 11:00 p.m.
